VitalTap · Kids
If your child needs help, the right people know what to do.
A tag on the school bag. One tap shows allergies, conditions, what to do and how to reach a parent. The child's name and photo never show to a stranger.
Found a child with a VitalTap tag?
- Call 919 or 911 first if the child needs help.
- Tap the tag on the school bag. The page opens on verifybahamas.com.
- Follow the "What to do" note, for example where an EpiPen is kept.
- Call a parent with the button on the page. Stay with the child.
Anyone who taps sees
- Blood type
- Allergies and medical conditions
- What to do in an emergency
- Parent or guardian contacts, one tap to call
Only with the parent's code
- Child's name and photo
- Date of birth and school
- Medications, doctor and address
- Insurance and NIB number
Parents share the code with the school nurse and teachers. It is never printed on the tag.
For schools
- Whole-class enrolment with parent consent forms collected by the school.
- Teachers and the nurse hold the codes, so a full record is one tap away on field trips and sports days.
- Parents keep it current: one call when an allergy, medicine or contact changes.
Enrol your child or your school
Parents can enrol a child directly. Principals and PTAs: ask about the VitalTap schools programme.
