How a check works

Find the tag. A keyring, card, school-bag fob or operator badge with the Verify Bahamas mark.
Tap it with your phone. Hold the top of an iPhone, or the back of most Android phones, against the tag.
Read the page. It must open on verifybahamas.com. Any other address is not us.

Private by design

Each tag holds only a private, unguessable link. Medical pages show just what a first responder needs; everything else stays locked behind a code held by the family. Medical details can't be searched or listed, and every view is logged.

Live, not printed

Operator status comes from the official register at the moment you tap. A suspended or expired licence shows red straight away, even on a badge that looks real.
